The project I chose to write about for my portfolio science reflection is my science fair project. For my science fair project I had to see if a duck egg or a chicken egg was stronger. I put books onto each egg that was standing upright until the egg cracked. Eggs are a lot stronger is you stand them upright rather than on their side. The duck egg won because it has a thicker membrane inside its shell. I liked doing the science fair project because it was fun. It interested me because I always waned to know which egg was stronger.
I learned many things from doing this project that can help me in my everyday life. I learned how to do an experiment testing two things to find out which one was better. I learned how to make a graph on the computer that showed the results of my experiment. I can make other graphs if I need to show results. I learned how to make a display board to show other people what I did. If I ever have a job and I am asked to make a display board I know how to do that.
